The same model changes its soul with its material. Here are the ones we work with, what they bring and the gestures that make them last.

A matt, dense surface, obtained by felting wool fibres into a fabric that can be moulded and holds its shape.
Brush in the direction of the nap, dry away from heat sources, entrust deep cleaning to a hatter.

Felted from fur fibres, it offers a closer, silkier touch than wool felt, and drapes with great finesse.
Brush regularly, let dry naturally, avoid pinching the crown in the same spot.
Spring – summer
Genuine Panamas are woven by hand in Ecuador from paja toquilla. The finer and more even the weave, the more precious the hat.
Handle by the brim rather than the crown, keep away from rain, never roll a Panama that is not designed for it.

Braided or crocheted, raffia gives supple hats with a lively grain, often able to spring back into shape after the journey.
Smooth with gentle steam, air out, avoid prolonged contact with water.

Braided wheat straw, seagrass: the straw family is vast. All share an airy structure that filters the light.
Dust with a dry cloth, avoid rain, store flat or on the crown.

Woven for summer caps and bucket hats, linen brings its characteristic irregular grain and natural coolness.
Gentle wash according to the model’s label, dry flat, iron lightly if needed.

Tight canvas, twill or washed: cotton lends itself to every mood and accompanies everyday use.

Reserved for certain caps, trims and sweatbands, leather develops a patina over the years and tells its owner’s story.
Nourish occasionally with a suitable product, keep away from direct heat.
