Aurega is a French family hat-making house, born in 2010 in the Tarn-et-Garonne. We design, make and select hats for women and for men: pieces meant to last, to be worn every day and to say something about the person who chooses them.
Our story
A house born of a family story
Aurega began as a duo: Danielle Garrigues, with nearly twenty-eight years spent running the administration of a hat company, and her son Vincent Rességuier, back from the world of Parisian finance to build a house in their own image with her. Since 2010, the family has grown Aurega between design, workshop and boutiques.

Since 2020, Aurega has made a rare choice: developing its own French production. Gestures are learned and passed on, trimmings are sewn one by one at the L’Honor-de-Cos workshop.
